The cure for your turmoil is to get your life right. I see questions from guys all the time about how to have more confidence, how to improve their relationships, how to escape depression, how to control their anger, etc. In almost every case, the answer lies in getting their lives in order. I explain more in this video.
Perceived Potential: The Source of Our Inner Turmoil
For most people, the source of their turmoil is that they aren’t happy with themselves. It is often said that the definition of Hell is, at the end of your life, meeting the man you could have become and seeing how much you could have accomplished in your life but failed to do. I think that phenomenon begins well before the end of our lives. In fact, I think each of us carries a sense of our potential. We know what kind of man we could be, how much money we could make, what kind of woman we could attract, what kind of children we could raise, and what kind of influence we could have.
Granted, some guys overestimate their potential and some guys underestimate it, but we all have a sense of it. And when the lives that we’re living fail to match up to our perceived potential, we have inner turmoil. Inner turmoil that goes unaddressed and unresolved festers. It results in depression, frustration, anger, and malaise. It evens messes with us physically, often making us generally tired and sluggish.
The answer is to get your life in order. There is no easier way. There’s no mind hack or trick that will result in a long-term solution. Until your life starts measuring up to your perceived potential, you will have turmoil, you will be unsatisfied, and you will be confused.

So, what exactly does it mean to have your life in order? Here’s what I know, men who excel in these areas have a fantastic life:
