Every man needs a mid-life crisis at some point. There comes a time in every man’s life when he sees that the path he’s on is not going to take him where he wants to go. It’s at that point when he has to make a decision: to keep on down the path that society expects him to travel, the one that will make him exactly like everyone else, or to chart his own path, the one that will give him the life that he wants.
Most of the time, when a man chooses the second path and begins to build a new life, the people around him say he’s having a mid-life crisis. And that’s what they’re going to say about you. Count on it. Expect it. And disregard it. You know you were called to do more and to be more. Go build that life.
